Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model actress television host entrepreneur recording artist has received numerous awards in her time. It includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Her film work has led to her nominated for 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Cinemas category as well as the two Gawad Urian Award. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she portrayed the Komiks famous character Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on 17th of February 1985. She is a Filipina and an Australian actor. Over the course of her career, she has been awarded numerous prizes including her two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards in addition to in five PMPC Star Awards. Also, Curtis has received eight PMPC Star Awards nominations and two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a range of television series such as Hiram (2004 from 2004 to 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). In 2014, she played the role of Komiks iconic Dyesebel as part of Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the popular midday show Showtime from 2009 to 2020. Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Her youngest sibling Jasmine is also an actor. Their father's side had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 from a heart disease when she was four months old.
